Women's Wellness Retreat 2022
We've been hearing a lot about self-care lately, but it seems almost impossible to set aside the time to take care of ourselves when we're so busy caring for others. Sometimes, the only way to escape to find time for ourselves is to literally escape--to go somewhere where no one and nothing is placing demands on our time.
I had the idea to try hosting a Women's Wellness Retreat, but I knew I'd need other health and wellness experts to jump on board. I reached out to Lindsay Brewer, my restorative yoga teacher, to see if she'd be interested, and she was all in, and even reached out to another connection, Brandi Gibson, to see if she'd also be willing to share her expertise in emotional wellness.

With both women on board, the next challenge became finding an affordable place to host the event. Enter Ziegenhaus in Catoosa, Oklahoma, near Tulsa. This beautiful home has lovely grounds, 17 beds, and an event center that could host our yoga and dance fitness classes.

I held my breath, crossed my fingers, dropped the deposit, and prayed that people would start booking. I kept the price of the event low so that it wouldn't be cost prohibitive to participants, and I have no expectation of making a profit; I only hope to break even.
Our retreat will take place on April 29-May 1, 2022, and the schedule is shaping up to be packed with all kinds of goodness to leave you energized, refreshed, and restored.
Tickets are limited due to space at the facility and to allow participants to receive individual attention in the course of the weekend.
There are two pricing options:
Full weekend: $175 - This option includes lodging Friday and Saturday nights, appetizers Friday night, continental breakfast Saturday and Sunday morning, and a light lunch Saturday, as well as all group classes and workshops throughout the weekend.
Saturday-only: $90 - This option includes a light lunch and all group classes and workshops on Saturday. The Saturday only option is best for those who want to drive up only for the day, for those who prefer to find their own lodging in Catoosa to spend only one night.
This event is filling up quickly. With a total of only 14 overnight tickets and 8 Saturday-only tickets, you'll want to act quickly to secure your spot. If the retreat sells out prior to your booking, contact me to be put on a waiting list to be notified of any cancellations.
