For the first time in Piedmont, you can now push your limits and find your strength with STRONG Nation™. This is a format I've wanted to teach for a long time, but I kept putting off instructor training and licensing. Now, it's finally here.
STRONG Nation™ takes the ideas of high-intensity interval training (HIIT) and revolutionizes them as HITT (high-intensity tempo training) in which every move is synced to the beat of the music--and you know that's everything I love about working out to music. Most of my own class formats use the method of timing movement to music: you'll see this in Fight Club, Beat Camp, and Get Pumped.
If you like Fight Club, you're going to love STRONG Nation™. Using martial arts and boot camp moves synced to music, you'll be able to easily follow the moves while challenging yourself and pushing your limits every step of the way.
If STRONG Nation™ looks challenging, that's because it is. However, every move has switchouts and modifications participants at all levels of fitness can reach their full potential, pushing beyond their perceived limits. The following video gives an example of how each move can be modified for higher or lower intensity depending on a participant's current physical ability.
Your first opportunities for STRONG Nation™ in Piedmont, Oklahoma, are Tuesday, June 29, at 9:30 a.m., and Wednesday, June 30, at 7:45 p.m, at Life Gym. You do not have to be a Life Gym member to attend, but if you're not, you'll need to bring your own mat. Space is limited, so book online to secure your spot.
