I have so much in store for you in the next couple of months! I'm excited about some changes coming, and I want to make sure you know about them in time to fully take advantage of everything we're offering!
This month is halfway over, but there are still lots of opportunities for you to work on your fitness. The Planksgiving Abs and Arms challenge is still underway, and even though we're halfway through, you're welcome to jump in anytime. The entry fee is $10, a portion of which goes to a cash prize drawing at the end. Join here.
The week of Thanksgiving sees a slow down at lots of gyms and fitness studios, and several locations are closing their doors for several days to a week. Not us! We're still here for you. The only day we are closing is Thanksgiving day, and even then, I'd encourage you to join me at the Piedmont Turkey Trot to benefit Bright Sky Ministries. During the rest of the week, we'll have our normal class times (MWF at 6:30 p.m., Tues. at 7:30 p.m.) PLUS we'll be offering a lunchtime Turkey Burn workout on Black Friday.
Speaking of Black Friday, be looking for a special deal on a 10-class pass that will save you 25% over the regular drop in rate!
Our current loyalty card program and pay-per-class stipulation are going away. You now have the option to pre-pay your classes. You can still pay per class if you wish, but it is now possible to buy a 10-class pass or 20-class pass. I'll keep up with your punch cards, so there is no need to remember to bring a card to take advantage of discounts.
The holidays are going to be lit! (See what I did there? Dad jokes aren't just for dads.)
We'll kick off December 1 with the Merry Fitmas Bodyweight Challenge. This challenge will have you doing daily bodyweight exercises with a focus on total body strength. The entry fee for this challenge is $10, a portion of which goes to a cash prize drawing at the end of the challenge! The value of the prize and odds of winning depend upon the number of participants, but previous challenges have resulted in a $150 cash prize!
Don't forget to join us for St. Nic's Holiday Dance Party on December 11 from 7-10 p.m. at Mills Garage behind the Old Store in Piedmont. We'll be celebrating the holidays as well as one year of "independence" for The FitNic. Bring your beverage of choice and an appetizer or dessert to share. We'll play games, dance to some of our favorite routines, and just generally eat, drink, and be merry. While donations to help with the cost of venue rental are appreciated, this event is free to attend. Can't donate? Can't bring a snack? Come anyway!
Our Camp FitNic boot campers will be continuing with their second half of the program and wrapping up just after Christmas. The class schedule will continue with MWF classes at 6:30 p.m., and TuTh classes at 7:30 p.m. for most of the month. There will be no boot camp the last week of December, but that's just because it will be a rest week before starting Camp FitNic Resolution ReBoot Camp on January 3rd. Pre-enrollment begins mid-December. Get the details here. Plus, we'll be offering a special add-on package for those who enroll in Resolution ReBoot--for only $75, you can add unlimited classes to your package for the 8 weeks of the boot camp session. That's a savings of over $20 off the regular class price!
The monthly challenges we've been doing have been wildly popular. As long as you keep showing up, we'll keep having them. We've already got our Happy New Rear challenge available for booking. Like the others, this glute-focused challenge has an entry fee of $10 in order to make a cash prize drawing available to participants.
And, as previously mentioned, we'll kick off Camp FitNic Resolution ReBoot Camp on January 3. This 8-week boot camp includes meal plans, recipes, in-person outdoor boot camp workouts, a private "Base Camp" accountability group, at-home workouts, weekly challenges, and more. Plus, attend unlimited classes with the Camp FitNic group fitness add-on package.
